Maintenance is Key

We believe that maintenance is just as important to your system as who you choose to install it.

One of the most important things we ask you to remember is that your air conditioning and heating system is very much like the engine in your car. Without regular maintenance like oil changes, new filters, air in your tires and regular cleaning your car wouldn’t run the way it was intended to. Your HVAC system is extremely similar. We highly recommend scheduling not only annual Air Conditioning Performance Checks every Spring and annual Furnace Performance Checks every Fall but also performing regular cleanings of your equipment and its components as well. Operating your furnace with a dirty blower or your outside unit with dirty condensing coils can cause your system to work harder that necessary leading to increased utility bills and premature breakdowns. The same happens when you don’t regularly change filters or make sure the Freon levels are maintained at the proper levels. While we understand that your air conditioning and heating system can sometimes have that “out of sight, out of mind” feel, we strongly encourage you give it the attention and care that you would your vehicle. By doing so, you have an opportunity to reduce your utilities, lengthen the life expectancy of your equipment and increase the comfort in your home.
